The 2019 event, the first run by Nick Faulks, was enjoyed by 62 entrants and has now ended. We hope to run a similar event in the summer of 2020. Watch this space just before Easter!
The Pimlico Summer Tournament has been held annually since 2011.
The 9th event will run on 5 consecutive Thursday evenings, starting on Thursday 13 June 2019 and ending on Thursday 11 July 2019. Play starts at 6.30pm.
FIDE Arbiter Nick Faulks will be in charge.
As in past years, there will be 3 sections, Open, Major u150 and Minor u120.
Each player will have 75 minutes per game, plus a 15 second increment per move.
Players may take a maximum of two half point byes.
Entry fee remains £25.

With a full entry, as we have had for the past 4 years, the prize fund will total £600. The actual prizes will be announced well in advance of the first round. They will depend on the number of entries in each section and are likely to include grading prizes.
