The Pimlico Summer Tournament has been held annually since 2011.
Entrants must be Silver (or higher) members of the ECF.
It is a 5 round Swiss with 3 sections….Open, U150 (Major) and U120 (Minor) using the January grading list.
All games will be submitted for the July grading list.
Games start at 6.30pm. All moves in 75 minutes per player plus 15 seconds per move.
A total of 60 players can be accommodated. Early booking is recommended, including payment of entry fee. In 2016 and 2017 the tournament was fully booked several weeks before the first round.

Entry fee is £25
Entries will be accepted from March onwards. Details of how to enter will be published then. Until 30 April priority will be given to previous participants and members of clubs that play in the London Public Service Chess League.
Prize Money (provisional)
The total prize fund will be between £450 and £750, depending on the number of entries. As a minimum, there will be first and second prizes in each section of £100 and £50 respectively. The full prize money details, including any grading prizes, will be published before the first round.
To qualify for a money prize in the Major or the Minor, category F graded and ungraded entrants will be asked to provide suitable evidence of their standard.
