CONDITIONS OF PLAY
Tournament controller. FIDE Arbiter Nick Faulks
Rate of play: 75 minutes per player per game plus a 15-second increment per
move.
Byes: Players may take a maximum of two ½ point byes. Byes must be
requested by the Monday before the round in question, except for the last
round which must be requested before the start of the tournament.
Defaults: Players arriving 30 minutes after White’s clock has been started will
be defaulted.

Sections

There will be two sections

OPEN Unrestricted entry

MAJOR ECF rating under 1800 ( equivalent to old grade of 147 )
Rating on 1 st June 2022 will be used for entries and seeding.

ECF Membership. All entrants in both sections must have at least Silver
membership.

Prizes : To be decided, dependent upon entry.
The intention is that there will be three prizes in each section, plus
rating prizes.

ECF rating. All games will be submitted for rating in accordance with the ECF
regulations in force at the time
